Founded in the Tees Valley our programmes provide a solution to the challenge of social value that works for your business, enhances workplace culture, provides seamless CPD opportunities and ensures personal growth and business growth that is sustainable and embedded in the heart of its workforce. The mission of the project is to ensure that all individuals, regardless of age, can socioeconomically prosper to mitigate the effects of adverse social and commercial determinants of health.

The evidence-based scheme is grounded  the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and ISO global standards, such as ISO 14000 environmental management, ISO 26000 social responsibility, ISO/IEC 27000 information security management, ISO 9000 quality management and ISO/IEC 42001 artificial intelligence management system and cyber essentials requirements. For every individual on the NotWORKing that WORKs programme, one child, young adult or individual not in employment, education or training is provided access to the programme free of charge

Our sister programmes include ‘Level Up! Navigating your way to WORK with NetWORK NotWORK’ and ‘Ignite XP’ support individuals not in employment, education or training (NEET) and children and young adults from age 8-24. Designed to blend seamlessly with the ‘NotWORKing that WORKS’ method, the programme is grounded in the Skills Builder Partnership universal framework (version 2.0) and brings the national curriculum to life whilst becoming a vehicle for family-integrated growth. The scheme is live with challenges set and updated by local businesses and industry to address skills gaps and community challenges that matter, developing the workforce of tomorrow with skills desired by employers.

All programmes can be carried out individually or collectively with friends and family. As badges align between programmes, families can develop together, reinforcing work-life balance whilst most importantly having fun and enhancing wellbeing. Using the approach of KNOW, DEVELOP, GROW, the scheme builds on foundational theoretical knowledge, applies the knowledge and then innovates in each field.
